Wonder Woman — Pam Sherman

Pam Sherman had been searching for a way to put down roots in her new Jewish community when she moved from Connecticut to Boston. She was looking for an organization that would allow her opportunities to give back in a meaningful way, when a friend happened to invite her to a CJP Young Women’s Philanthropy event. It was a perfect match.

“I feel a strong sense of responsibility to continue to support the Jewish community that my parents and grandparents helped to provide for me and I want to be able to pass that on to my children,” Pam says. “CJP has been all of those things for me.”

Now serving in her second year as Vice President, Young Women’s Philanthropy, Pam says she loves attending WP events and is “always amazed at the turnout and the energy in the room.”

“To see everything come together — and a room full of like-minded women sharing a love of learning and philanthropy — makes me very proud to be a part of it,” she says. “Come to an event, and I promise you will be surprised at how many other women in the group are looking for a sense of community and purpose.”
