How do we foster a strong Jewish future?

The Jewish Teen Initiative (JTI) at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) connects, empowers, inspires and mobilizes teens and the professionals who support them throughout Greater Boston. From grants to leadership opportunities, we're here to support the work of our partners, help teens navigate their Jewish journeys, and inspire them to be the change they wish to see.

Let's connect!

  • Peer Leadership Fellows

JTI's signature program trains and empowers teens in grades 10 through 12 to become communal connectors. Fellows develop meaningful relationships with their peers and connect others to the vast menu of opportunities available to Jewish teens in their community and beyond.

  • Teen Community Impact Grants

Let's make something awesome happen! Grants provide up to $15,000 in funding to nonprofit programs that bring Jewish teens together and help them engage with Jewish tradition and culture.

  • Teen Engagement Network

Providing resources and events for networking and learning, co-working days, and professional development stipends, we aim to nurture connection, collaboration, and innovation amongst teen-serving professionals and organizations.

  • Teen Travel to Israel

From their hometowns to our homeland, we help teens discover Israel and connect with their Jewish identity — all while making new friends. Through Israel Teen Travel Scholarships, students are afforded the opportunity to experience Israel’s spirit, innovation, people, history, and sites in person.
