Born in Ashdod, Israel, Ohad is studying economics at Brandeis University as a recipient of the Slifka Scholarship. In 2014, Ohad initiated a platform to connect American students with paid internships offered by U.S.-based Israeli startups; today, the venture includes more than 100 startups.

Ohad contributed to several major media outlets in the U.S. and Israel, including Israel's national TV and radio channels. Currently, Ohad has partnered with Brandeis University and MassChallenge to launch Our Generation Speaks, a leadership program and social enterprise incubator that brings together 20 of the most talented Israeli and Palestinian leaders to change facts on the ground, develop relationships of trust and build a shared future for the region.
