Wendy J. Kraft: Circle of Excellence Growth Award

Wendy Kraft has been a CJP advocate and leader for the past 20 years.

She currently serves on the CJP Board of Directors, and as the immediate past Campaign Chair on the Women’s Philanthropy (WP) Executive Board. Previously, Wendy served on the WP Board for 14 years in various leadership roles including Vice President, Outreach, and Vice President, Young Women, where she co-created Tzedakah Friends and Family and L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Education, and Development).

Wendy was the recipient of the CJP Superstar Award in 2007 and 2018 and is a graduate of the Cynthia and Leon Shulman Acharai Leadership Program.  She has co-chaired many CJP missions to Israel, as well as CJP missions to Prague, Budapest, and Cuba. 

Beyond CJP, Wendy is currently serving her second term on the Board of Directors for 2Life Communities. She previously served on the Board of Directors at Cradles to Crayons and Temple Emmanuel Sisterhood. For Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF), Wendy co-chaired the First and Second Annual Women’s Breakfasts. 

Wendy is a licensed and registered occupational therapist and received a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from Tufts University. Wendy and her husband Dan reside in Newton and have three children.
