Shira’s leadership serves as a beacon of stability and guidance for all CJP community members and staff. Her contributions and influence over many years have been critical to our success and vision. She has served on various committees and commissions at CJP, including the Board of Directors, and she currently serves on the Commission on Strategic Priorities. In each role, regardless of the capacity, she has been an engaged and invested participant, with the priority focus to improve the Boston Jewish community. Most recently, Shira co-chaired the President Search Committee and the 2017 strategic plan process, where she inspired and led many through this time of transition. Shira has generously shared her time, guidance, knowledge, and passion with CJP staff and the broader Jewish community. We, in turn, have only benefited and grown due to her strength and leadership.
