Catharyn Gildesgame: Circle of Excellence Leadership Award

Catharyn Gildesgame is a long-time community builder, advocate and champion for CJP and the Greater Boston Jewish community. She has been a member of CJP’s Board of Directors for the past two years and serves on CJP taskforces and working groups including Effective Governance, Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund, Leadership Learning Circles and Tech Support during COVID. She has co-chaired CJP’s Day School Education Commission and Commission on Caring and Social Justice, and has served on the Commission on Strategic Priorities. She also serves on the boards of directors of 2Life Communities and Minuteman Senior Services. She is a past Board President of Boston’s Jewish Community Day School, a past member of the Board of Directors of Gateways: Access to Jewish Education, and an alum of the Wexner Heritage Program for lay leaders. Catharyn is Senior Vice President, Strategy at McLean Hospital. She lives in Arlington with her husband Mike and is very grateful that their three adult children live nearby in Cambridge and Somerville.
