Betsy is a dedicated and passionate volunteer with a deep commitment to the Dnipro Kehillah Project and CJP’s history of work in Dnipro, Ukraine. Over the years, Betsy has traveled to Dnipro many times and has developed personal relationships within the Dnipro community.

In the fall of 2019, she was invited to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, when he visited New York for the U.N. General Assembly — a testament to her recognized role with this community.

Over the last year, with travel to Ukraine impossible, she has joined a weekly staff call with Dnipro to stay connected with our partners. She always keeps the interests of our partnership top of heart and mind.

Betsy is also a member of CJP's Israel and Global Jewish Citizenship Leadership Committee, joining with others to clarify the future direction of this agenda. She is known for being thoughtful and mindful of others’ views. She gives sound advice based on her deep experience as a volunteer and board member in community organizations and as a lawyer and advisor on international business transactions. Betsy’s perspective helps to advance the important work of the Israel and Global Jewish Citizenship Leadership Committee.
