We are deeply saddened and angered to learn of a terrorist attack in which two young Israelis were murdered and two others injured in the hours before Shabbat.

According to news reports, a Palestinian rammed his car into the young men – all in their early twenties – as they walked along a highway in the northern West Bank. The victims have yet to be identified.

The attack followed calls from Palestinian groups for Friday to be a “day of rage” to mark 100 days since the United States announced it would move its embassy to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem.

Today, two more sons of Israel lost their lives to terror. We mourn with our brothers and sisters in Israel who have suffered so much sorrow at the hands of terrorists. As we pray for the recovery of the injured, we hope the families and friends of these young men will find comfort and peace. Shabbat Shalom.
